Lakeside Harmonies — “Armonie del Lago” — is at Via Due Riviere 90, 28831 Baveno (VB), Italy, in the Campino-Someraro hamlet on the hillside above Baveno, on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore. Free parking is provided for all guests. Baveno centre is a 10-minute walk downhill, Stresa is 5 minutes by car, and Milan Malpensa airport is about 35 minutes.
Directions
By car
Take the “BAVENO” motorway exit — coming from Milan, follow the A26 towards Gravellona Toce. Head to the town centre, and from the lake follow the signs for the hamlet of Campino-Someraro. Lakeside Harmonies is on Via Due Riviere, up on the right.
Free parking for all guests. The residence is gated; the apartment has a private indoor garage.
By train
From Stresa station — served by direct trains from Milan — it is a 10-minute taxi ride up to the residence. Baveno has its own station too, about 1 km away.

The Borromean Islands
Isola Bella with its baroque palace and gardens, Isola dei Pescatori with its fishermen’s alleys and restaurants, and Isola Madre’s botanical park — all a short ferry from Baveno or Stresa.
Stresa & Mottarone
The grand lakeside promenade, the cable car up Mottarone for views across seven lakes, and the Alpinia botanical garden with more than 700 alpine species.
Baveno itself
A quieter, more local alternative to Stresa: pink granite quarries, a Romanesque church, a working lakefront, restaurants and beach clubs — ten minutes downhill on foot.
Verbania & Villa Taranto
Across the bay, one of Europe’s great botanical gardens, plus the Val Grande national park behind it.
Lake Orta
Half an hour away, and a completely different mood: Orta San Giulio, its island monastery, and a lake small enough to walk around a piece of.
Switzerland
Locarno, Ascona and Lugano are all inside an hour, which makes a Swiss day trip genuinely easy.

Is parking free?
Yes, for all guests. The apartment comes with a private indoor garage; the villa has free private parking on site. The residence is gated.
Do we need a car?
Recommended, not required. Baveno centre is a ten-minute walk downhill and the ferry port is 2.8 km. A car makes the uphill return with shopping easier, and opens up Stresa, Verbania, Lake Orta and Switzerland.
Can you arrange an airport transfer?
We do not run transfers ourselves, but Malpensa is a straightforward 35-minute drive and we are happy to recommend a local driver. Just ask.
What are the check-in times?
Apartment: from 15:00, out by 11:00. Villa: from 17:00, out by 10:00. Both hosts live nearby and meet guests on arrival.
